  • Access Admin Panel: Log into your website’s backend where you manage your site’s components.
  • Navigate to HostGPT: Look for the ‘HostGPT’ menu. Here, you’ll find options to create a new chatbot.
  • Click ‘Knowledge’ and Create New Chatbot: Here you can enter a Chatbot name and relevant data in the article field.
  • Additional HostGPT Information can be found in the knowledge base under HostGPT.

2. Updating the Knowledge Base

A knowledgeable HostGPT is a useful HostGPT. Here’s how to keep your chatbot informed:

  • Gather Relevant Data: Collect all necessary information regarding your property, local amenities, booking policies, etc. This could include:
  • Property specifics (amenities, layout, unique features)
  • Local attractions, dining, and activities
  • Check-in/check-out procedures, house rules
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • Upload to Knowledge Base: Use the interface provided in the HostGPT section to upload this data. Enter a Chatbot name and the relevant data in the Article field and submit ‘Submit Content’
  • Attention: Use the exact same chatbot name for your knowledge/article entries.. If you have multiple properties then create different chatbots with different ‘Chatbot Names’.

3. Adding the Chatbot to a New Page

Integrating HostGPT into your website ensures it’s accessible to your guests:

  • Create a New Page: In your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Pages’ > ‘Add New’. Title this page something like “Ask Our AI Assistant” or “Help Center”.
  • Insert Shortcode: Once your chatbot is created and configured, you’ll get a shortcode like [aichat_chatbot floating="no" knowledge_base="EXACT CHATBOT NAME"]. Copy this and replace the chatbot name.
  • Add Shortcode to Page: Paste the shortcode into the content area of your new page. Customize the page’s appearance to match your site’s design, if needed.
